ASTRONOMY TOURS
STARGAZERS B&B offers astronomy enthusiasts a chance to view our spectacular southern hemisphere sky under dark sky conditions. As an extra treat during the tours you might be lucky enough to hear and maybe even view one of our friendly native Morepork owls in the bush around the dome. Warm clothing and comfortable footware are essential, even in summer.

View the Sun with it's ever changing sunspots and flares using our special H-alpha telescope.
The Moon, bright stars and some planets may also be visible during the daytime.

CONDITIONS APPLYING
TO ALL TOURS:

Minimum 2 adults per tour. Subject to weather conditions; bookings essential.

Please dress warmly as you will be spending exended periods outside.

Not suitable for children under 5. Hazards include steep slopes and steps, high balconies as well as an unfenced stream and old mine tunnels on the property.

Adults must be aware of the delicate nature of the telescopes, equipment and wiring and must take full responsibility for the actions of themselves and their children.

N.B.: Some of the features described in the tour highlights are seasonal and may not be visible in the sky on the night you attend; but there is always lots and lots to see!
